When I got to the campsite on Friday we went up and of course they didn't have are reservation or any information. I have emails to prove that I did. The lady that worked the counter was externally rude. Said "dose it look like I have a computer" I responded with I don't know who answers your emails but if your website says yo contact you through the email it's not my problem. So we end up having to rent canoes and not rafts as we had wanted.

When we go to pay and set up a time to get picked up the next day they where extremely disorganized. We asked for 30 min before we would be picked up. They then never showed up. When we went back in to ask they said we missed are bus ad it left 30 min ago. They then said go wait in one area but no one came. We rushed to be ready after they said we missed are first bus but we ended up waiting another 45 min. Then we had to move all are stuff again as they told us the wrong place to wait. The bus arrives and we are packed in with another group. There are not enough seats or room for all are stuff. The bus driver then drove the whole way with the door open. At any time I could have fallen out of the front of the bus as the door was open and used to mow down weads as we drove down the road. We get dropped off and the canoes we got were all old. There was not enough seats or life jackets and no extra paddlers. They only had a few trash bags and the service was horrible. I will never go back to Carrs canoe or current river canoe. I will use two rivers as they have been good a few times that I have used them. They pick you up on time at your camp site. They make sure you have everything and are not rude. When I went back and said something to Ida the person who was rude the first day she was rude again and when I left she made very rude comments about me outloud while my friends where still shopping. I will never go back and I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to use your company.
I have rented from this place twice - 2 kayaks once and a canoe later. Pricewise, I felt the canoe was just a little bit on the higher side, but overall prices are quite reasonable. The people running this place are nice and both of their shops were conveniently located by the most frequented landings - one by Pulltite and one at Round Springs. I would definitely continue renting from Carr's and would recommend others to this .
Great service, competitive pricing, and decent, respectful fellow patrons. The 22 mile float from Akers Ferry to Round Spring is gorgeous, and as opposed to other parts of the river (looking at you Van Buren), I don't have to worry as much about drunks & idiots shouting obscenities around my 15 yr old.
First off this is actually the 2nd time I have had a reservation lost from contacting current river canoe company, the first time was over the phone. This year I decided to contact them through email so I would have proof.
Very nice people and set us up for an awesome last minute raft trip. They made the whole day very easy and stress free.
Great people at Pulltite. Friendly on the phone called and asked for tips, useful information. We intended to float to Round springs but got caught in a storm. The lady at the desk at Pulltite was friendly, had coffee we drank to warm up. She called the driver who drove my husband to Round Springs to get our van because we couldn't float anymore in the heavy rain. Highly recommended. We had issues with another place down there...So pick Carr's for sure!!
If I could give zero stars I would. I want to start off with saying that I have been floating the current river for over 20 years. I have used the current river canoe company serval times at pultite campgrounds. They are part of carra canoe so this review is based on that sites experience.
